The Department of Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism Business was established on the initiative of the President of the International Humanities University Serhiy Vasyliovych Kivalov in 2020. He is a member of the Institute of Law, Economics and International Relations.

The head of the department is Oksana Dyshkantyuk, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor. Dyshkantyuk Oksana is a member of the Sectoral Expert Council 24 Sphere of service (specialty "Hotel and restaurant business") of the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education. He is the developer of the standard of higher education of Ukraine in the specialty "Hotel and restaurant business". She studied the experience of training for the hospitality industry in the United Kingdom (Manchester Metropolitan University) and in Slovenia - University of Primorska, Faculty of Tourism Studies Portorož. Member of the working group on tourism development of the Odessa City Council. He is a co-author of 6 monographs and textbooks with the stamp of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine (including in English). She has published more than 100 scientific and methodological publications (including periodicals included in the scientometric databases Scopus and Web of Science Core Collection). Member of the international association La foundation pour la formation hoteliere (United Kingdum, London). In 2018 prepared the winner of the second stage of the All-Ukrainian competition of student research papers in the specialty "Hotel and restaurant business". Head of the NGO "Hospitality Development Foundation".
